Some information on accessibility are listed below. For detailed information please see the evaluation report.

  • There are two parking spaces for people with disabilities in the parking lot at the spa administration building (space size 350 cm wide and 500 cm long).
  • The beach promenade is approx. 2,000 m long. 
  • The path to the beach is easy to walk and drive on.
  • The path has maximum longitudinal gradients of up to 10% over 50 m.
  • The promenade is only permitted for pedestrians. 
  • The path to the beach leads along a step-free asphalt path. 
  • There are numerous seating areas on the promenade.
  • There are wooden walkways at various beach entrances to access the beach chairs.
  • Other tools offered: Wattmobile.
  • There are public toilets for people with disabilities at the Kugelbake beach, Döse beach house, Behrens beach restaurant, Steinmare outdoor pool and at Sparkassen Beach. 
  • There are foldable grab handles. 
  • The toilets can be accessed from at least one side.
  • There is the Jahn-Cux-Bahn, which runs over the promenade.

  • Assistenzhunde dürfen in alle relevanten Bereiche/Räume mitgebracht werden 
  • Am Haus der Kurverwaltung gibt es 2 Parkplätze für Menschen mit Behinderung.  
  • Ein weiterer Parkplatz ist am Adventuregolf. Dort gib es keine Parkplätze für Menschen mit Behinderung.
  • Es gibt eine Haltestelle (Name: ÖPNV Haltestelle Seelust) des Nahverkehrs in 100 m.  
  • Die Strandpromenade Duhnen hat eine Gesamtlänge von 2000 m.
  • Der Zugang zur Standpromenade und die Strandpromenade ist stufenlos. 
  • Der Wegeabschnitt ist von der Oberflächenbeschaffenheit her erschütterungsarm und leicht begeh- und befahrbar.
  • Die Strandpromenade ist Auto- und Fahrradfrei. 
  • Der Wegeabschnitt ist durchgehend beschildert. 
  • Es gibt öffentliche WCs u.a. am Leuchtfeuer, am Haus der Kurverwaltung und beim Adventuregolf.
