"Friesentherme" Emden
The Friesentherme Emden is a bathing paradise for the whole family. The 25-meter-long sports pool with starting blocks and a diving tower is ideal for sporty swims. The well-tempered whirlpools provide relaxation after a workout. In the adventure pool with a wave ball and a dangling course there is fun and action for children. In addition, many water toys and a large obstacle course for climbing and sliding provide variety in the Friesentherme on play day. Another highlight: In summer, there is an open-air pool feeling. The Friesentherme is equipped with a convertible roof that can be opened in good weather.

- There are two parking spaces available for people with disabilities.
- All rooms and facilities that are accessible to guests are step-free/at ground level or accessible via a ramp or elevator. Exceptions are the tree sauna and pond sauna, as well as the natural pond pool and an outdoor saltwater whirlpool. These are only accessible via stairs.
- There are no slopes greater than 4%.
- All doors/passages accessible to guests are at least 90 cm wide. Exceptions are the sauna doors. Some of these are only 60 cm wide.
- There is a sanitary room available for people with disabilities.
- The toilet in this room is accessible from at least one side (at least 80 cm). There are grab rails in the shower. A shower seat is available.
- A passenger lift is available for access to the swimming pools. Alternatively, there are shallow steps with handrails and ladders with handrails.
- Wheelchair-accessible tables are available in the restaurant area.
- Assistive devices available: wheelchair, sauna wheelchair, passenger lift (for swimming pools).
