All areas relevant for testing meet the quality criteria of the label "Accessibility certified - partially accessible for people with walking disabilities".
Some information on accessibility are listed below. For detailed information please see the evaluation report.
- There are two marked parking spaces for people with disabilities (parking space size: 350 cm x 700 cm).
- The bus stop Rhodt Mitte is 2 km away.
- The building is steplessly accessible.
- All evaluated rooms and facilities available to the guests are accessible at ground level or via an elevator.
- The elevator cabin measures 108 cm x 138 cm. The elevator door is 90 cm wide.
- Almost all evaluated passageways/doors available to the guests are at least 90 cm wide. Exception: The bathroom door in room 1 is 85 cm wide and the toilet door in room 91 is 74 cm wide.
- The reception desk is 110 cm high.
- There are no wheelchair accessible tables available in the dining room.
- There are flat steps with handrails for entering the swimming pool.
Room 1 (double room, ground floor)
- The manoeuvring spaces are:
in front of essential stationary furnishings (e.g. wardrobe) 200 cm x 125 cm;
left of the bed 125 cm x 200 cm; right of the bed 60 cm x 200 cm. - The bed is 60 cm high.
- A nursing bed is not available.
- The manoeuvring spaces in the bathroom are:
in front of the toilet 110 cm x 160 cm; in front oft the washbasin 125 cm x 180 cm;
left of the toilet 30 cm x 56 cm and right of the toilet 59 cm x 56 cm. - There are grab rails available on the right and left of the toilet. The grab rails can be flipped-up.
- The sink has limited access.
- The mirror can be seen while standing or sitting.
- The shower is steplessly available (treshold of 1 cm).
- The manoeuvring space in the shower is 120 cm x 90 cm.
- A shower seat is available or can be provided if required.
- There are grab rails available in the shower.
- An alarm trigger is not available.
Room 91 (double room, 2nd basement floor)
- The manoeuvring spaces are:
in front of essential stationary furnishings (e.g. wardrobe) 200 cm x 150 cm;
left of the bed 150 cm x 200 cm; right of the bed 30 cm x 200 cm. - The bed is 52 cm high.
- The bathroom is not designed for people with disabilities (very small manoeuvring spaces, no grab rails, etc.).
Public toilet for people with disabilities (1st basement floor)
- The manoeuvring spaces are:
in front of the door 200 cm x 144 cm; in front of the toilet and the washbasin 200 cm x 160 cm;
left of the toilet 93 cm x 55 cm, no manoeuvring space on the right. - There are grab rails available on the right and left of the toilet. The grab rail on the left of the toilet can be flipped-up.
- The sink has limited access.
- The mirror is not visible while sitting.
- An alarm trigger is available.
Sauna area
- There are flat steps with handrails to enter the pool.
- The sauna doors are at least 89 cm wide.
- The manoeuvring spaces in front of the lower benches are at least 185 cm x 85 cm.
- No sauna wheelchair is provided.
- The manoeuvring spaces in the WC are:
in front of/behind the door, in front of the WC and in front of the washbasin at least 150 cm x 150 cm;
at least 90 cm x 70 cm to the left and right of the WC. - There are grab rails to the left and right of the WC.
- Both grab rails can be flipped-up.
- The washbasin is wheelchair compatible.
- The mirror is visible when sitting and standing.
- There is a cord as an alarm trigger.

- An outgoing emergency call in the elevator is confirmed audibly.
- In the dining room there are tables with bright and glare-free lighting, on which there are no lamps standing or hanging that interfere with the field of vision or eye contact. There is no seating area with low background noises (e.g. corner seating, separate room).
- In rooms 1 and 91 (double room) is at least one electrical outlet available near the bed.
- The ringing or knocking on the door is not indicated by a flashing signal which can be detected in all rooms.
- WiFi is offered.
