Saarburg chairlift

Saarburger Sesselbahn (HANS-PETER MERTEN)

Enjoy the ride in one of the comfortable double chairs with wonderful views of the Saar valley. 700 m ride between the town of Saarburg and the Warsberg mountain station. The summer toboggan run is located right next to the mountain station, and the 2 km long, barrier-free certified Warsberg walking trail starts 100 m away. Bicycles, baby carriages and wheelchairs can also be transported on the chairlift.

  • Wheelchair users must be able to sit independently, the chairlift is stopped when getting on and off. 
  • There is a public toilet for people with disabilities, which can be accessed from at least one side (at least 90 cm). 
  • There is a flip-up grab rail at least on the accessible side of the toilet.
