PHILIPPUS Leipzig Inclusion Hotel
PHILIPPUS Leipzig Inclusion Hotel
(Christian Lingnau)
PHILIPPUS Leipzig is an inclusive business; people with and without impairments work together in the hotel. Guests can not only stay overnight here, but also organise celebrations or conferences. PHILIPPUS Leipzig attaches great importance to accessibility. The 29 rooms are accessible by lift and via wide corridors. A rich breakfast buffet with fair trade coffee and regional products is included. PHILIPPUS Leipzig offers modern facilities in a listed building ensemble with a special charm. Built around 1910, the house was a parish church years ago. The former vicarage now houses the hotel, and the church is used for events such as concerts or readings.
Close to the city centre, quiet, with an idyllic beer garden, PHILIPPUS is located directly on the water and in the middle of the lively West Leipzig area with pubs, art and culture. Walking distance to public transport and Leipzig's sights included.
Worth mentioning is our visual and tactile orientation and guidance system, which has been expanded since the beginning of 2020.
The guidance system leads through the hotel to the reception, seminar rooms, breakfast rooms, toilets and to the 1st room floor.
For blind people, we have tactile floor indicators (consisting of grooves or studs), and there are handrail signs in Braille on the staircase banisters to the basement. There are signs in black and braille along the guidance system. Guest folders in Braille as well as tactile public signage and escape route signs in room 1.05 are available.
