Warsberg walking trail

Warsberg walking trail (Anna-Lena Koster)

The 2 km long walkway (900 meters one-way) has a continuous width of 2 meters and has a maximum gradient of 6 percent. The water-bound surface layer ensures good rollability. The walk starts 100 meters behind the mountain station of the Saarburg chairlift.

The highlight of the tour is the lookout point halfway along the trail, which offers a beautiful view of the Saar-Hunsrück Nature Park. Along the way, seating and picnic areas invite you to linger.

The walk connects to a network of existing hiking trails, e.g. to the beautiful wine village of Ayl or to the Kreuzberg lookout point with panoramic views into the Saar Valley. These destinations are no longer accessible without barriers.
