Zoo Landau

Zoo Landau in der Pfalz (Zoo Landau)

Experience over 900 exotic animals just a short walk from downtown Landau! Enclosures designed close to nature, great insights and photo opportunities. Petting zoo, playground, organized children's birthday parties, vacation program and great guided tours for all ages. Dogs are welcome.

Guests are greeted as soon as they enter the zoo by dromedaries, which also adorn the logo of the popular Landau Zoo. On the circular route through the approximately 4.5 hectares of tree-rich parkland, they meet public favorites such as the Siberian tigers, the calicoes known from the film "Madagascar", meerkats, penguins, dwarf otters, zebras and other representatives from over 110 animal species. The scientifically managed Landau Zoo participates in 28 coordinated conservation breeding programs (EEP) and shows very rare species.
