Zehntscheune mit multimedialem Audioführungssystem /Burg Lichtenberg (Ludmilla Schwarz)

Lichtenberg Castle

Amidst the impressive backdrop of Lichtenberg Castle is the historic tithe barn. A testament to times gone by, it now manages a wealth of culture and history. Here you can marvel at a fascinating collection celebrating the rich musical heritage of the West Palatinate Musikantenland in the Musikantenland Museum.

Another highlight is the barrier-free access to the Zehntscheune, which allows all visitors to enjoy the offerings to the fullest. On the upper floor you will find a chamber music room that is used for concerts and for other events. The acoustics of this room are impressive and attract music lovers from all over the region. Audio guides are available for those who wish to explore the area and its stories at their own pace.

These offer deeper insights into the exhibitions and history of the castle and museums. Stand-alone tours are also available for children and the mentally impaired in simple language, as a sign language video and for the visually impaired with special inclusion of tactile elements.

Whether you are interested in history, a music lover or simply a curious traveller, the Zehntscheune offers a multi-faceted experience for all ages and interests.
