Biological outdoor pool "Am Thie", Blankenburg (Harz) (Claudia Kepke)

The biological outdoor pool "Am Thie" in the center of Blankenburg (Harz Mountains), opened in 2010, offers natural bathing fun. Thanks to state-of-the-art biological treatment technology, the chlorine-free water quality is unique in Saxony-Anhalt.

The outdoor pool with its large sunbathing lawn, diving rock, stainless steel slide and several adventure pools is surrounded by the trees of the adjacent Thiepark and offers a romantic view of the Harz mountains.

The entrance area with park café is also accessible for vacationers and so they can enjoy a cup of coffee with a piece of cake overlooking the water without visiting the pool.

During a vacation in Blankenburg (Harz) the outdoor pool is a popular destination for families on hot summer days. Swimming pool (25 meters; with 6 starting blocks and warm water zones).
