Accessible path at Bitburg reservoir

Accessible path at Bitburg reservoir (TI Bitburger Land)

Situated in the scenic valley of the Prüm, the "Bitburg Reservoir" near Biersdorf is the tourist centre of the southern Eifel. The 35-hectare reservoir allows a variety of leisure activities such as pedal boating, rowing and paddling. A special attraction is the fountain in the middle of the lake, which can be seen in summer.  The newly designed beach area with sandy surfaces and palm trees, comfortable wooden loungers, and thatched sun umbrellas creates a special holiday atmosphere. The approximately 1.5-kilometre-long lakeside promenade invites you to take a stroll.  A kiosk by the lake, a pizzeria, and a restaurant in Biersdorf can be found in close proximity.  The reservoir is also a perfect starting point for hikes.
