Welcome to the Stuttgart Tourist Information Center!

We are delighted to welcome you. You will find us centrally located in Stuttgart's city center, right on the market square, and easily accessible.

We provide information about leisure and cultural activities, excursion destinations, and events in Stuttgart, the Stuttgart region, and throughout Baden-Württemberg. Tickets for musicals, theater performances, concerts, and sporting events, as well as tickets for city walks, tours, and sightseeing trips, are also available. The StuttCard and ErlebnisCard guest cards can also be purchased here.

At the Tourist Information Center, you'll also find a brand partner area with a large LED wall showing films from our brand partners. We also offer a selection of products from select partners such as Mercedes-Benz, Porsche, VfB Stuttgart, Ritter Sport, and Hochland.

In our shop, you'll also find regional souvenirs, culinary specialties from Stuttgart and the surrounding area, and a rotating selection of Stuttgart wines. We're also happy to assist you with hotel reservations.

Our friendly and experienced team is available to advise you in several languages. We'll take the time to answer your questions and provide personalized tips, helpful advice, and insider knowledge for a pleasant and relaxing stay in Stuttgart and the region.

All areas relevant for testing meet the quality criteria of the label "Accessibility certified - accessible for people with walking disabilities and wheelchair users".  

Some information on accessibility are listed below. For detailed information please see the evaluation report.

  • There is no parking space for people with disabilities, but there is an alternative. There are several public parking garages in the city center.
  • All rooms and facilities that can be used by guests are step-free/at ground level or accessible via a ramp or elevator(s).
  • All doors/passageways that can be used by guests are at least 90 cm wide.
  • The counter/cash desk is 84 cm high.
  • There is a public toilet for people with disabilities, which is accessible from both sides (at least 80 cm). The grab rails on the toilet can be folded up.
  • Guided tours are offered for people with walking disabilities and wheelchair users. Advance booking is required.
  • Mobile or fixed seating is available for people with walking disabilities, which can be used during the tour.

  • In the event of an acoustic alarm, there is also a clearly visible flashing signal.
  • There is no audio induction loop system.
  • An outgoing emergency call in the elevator is only confirmed acoustically. Alternatively, stairs are available.
  • An outgoing emergency call is confirmed visually in the elevator.
  • No guided tours are offered for people with hearing impairments or deaf people.

  • The entrance area is designed with high visual contrast.
  • Signage (for orientation) is designed in easily legible, high-contrast font.
  • All elevated areas accessible to guests are brightly lit without glare.
  • Stairs have at least one handrail on one side.
  • Information is not available in relief or Braille.
  • Guided tours are offered for people with visual impairments and blind people. Advance registration is required.
  • During the tours, exhibits are integrated for touching.
