"Herrenhäuser Gärten"

"Herrenhäuser Gärten" (Nik Barlo Jr.)

The Herrenhausen Gardens in Hanover are among the most beautiful parks in Europe. The current shape and size of the gardens were created as early as 1714 and have remained almost unchanged to this day. Three styles of garden art can be seen here in perfection. The Great Garden impresses with Baroque ornamentation and magnificent water features, as well as a variety of native and exotic plants, mazes, impressive fountains and stunning sculptures. During the summer months, many events take place such as the International Fireworks Competition, the Little Festival in the Great Garden and numerous theater and musical performances.
