Youth castle Hessenstein

Youth castle Hessenstein

The Youth Castle Hessenstein offers school classes, trainees, children and youth groups as well as families unique experiences in the North Hessian national park region Kellerwald-Edersee. You can use the castle as a youth hostel for your own activities or take advantage of our educational programs on nature, crafts and the Middle Ages.

The youth hostel is situated in a secluded location directly on the edge of the forest above the Eder. It is also ideal for vacation and music groups and offers medieval live role-players a unique castle backdrop. The hostel offers a wide range of sports and games facilities on its own leisure grounds. The hostel is run by NABU Hesse, the district of Waldeck-Frankenberg and the Kreishandwerkerschaft Waldeck-Frankenberg.
