Zugspitze - Top of Germany

The ride on the Cable car Zugspitze, the cogwheel train and the Gletscherbahn cable car includes breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and valleys. The restaurants at the summit and on the Zugspitze plateau offer refreshments. At the Photostop Zugspitze, you can also capture your visit to the summit on camera. During winters the Zugspitze glacier ski area is by the way famous for its perfectly groomed natural snow – but it's not just skiers who get their money's worth here - there are also great tobogganing options for the whole family.

In the Garmisch-Classic hiking, climbing and ski area, there are numerous possibilities for excursions and activities for families, seniors as well as hobby and professional athletes. In summer as well as in winter, the Osterfelderkopf and Kreuzeck mountains are easily accessible via the cable cars of Bayerische Zugspitzbahn Bergbahn AG. During the winter season the area changes into a winter wonderland with a total of 40 kilometres of ski runs. With a huge variety of different levels we offer ski fun for everybody.
