City Museum in the Cultural Center House "Catoir"

City Museum in the Cultural Center House "Catoir" (cf)

The museum of local history in Haus Catoir documents the development of the city and its surroundings from the first traces of settlement in the Neolithic Age to the present. The rich collections date back to 1872, when the first local antiquity association of the Palatinate was founded in Bad Dürkheim. After many eventful years, the collection found an ideal home in the baroque residence of the Catoir family, which was used as a cultural center.
