Some information on accessibility are listed below. For detailed information please see the evaluation report.

  • There are five parking spaces for people with disabilities in the underground car park.  One parking space is at least 350 cm wide and 500 cm long. The parking space is 20 m from the entrance.
  • The entrance/access to the building is step-free (max. 2 cm threshold, if necessary via a ramp).
  • All rooms and facilities that can be used and raised for the guest are accessible without steps (at ground level or via a lift). Door thresholds are max. 4 cm high.
  • The lift car of the lift to the underground car park is at least 142 cm x 143. The lift door is at least 90 cm wide.
  • The lift car of the lifts to the rooms, conference centre, fitness area is 150 cm x 160 cm. The lift door is 110 cm wide.
  • Passages and doors are at least 84 cm wide. Exception: sauna door (71 cm door width), steam sauna (62 cm door width).
  • The reception counter is 100 cm high at the lowest point. There is another, equivalent communication option available in a seated position.
  • In the catering areas, wheelchair accessible tables (maximum height 80 cm, wheelchair accessible at a height of 67 cm with a depth of 30 cm) are available. 
  • The following aids are available: Rollator, reading aids (reading glasses, magnifying glasses, etc.).

Comfort room 310 with bathroom (3rd floor)

  • Doors are at least 84 cm wide.
  • The room is a double room.
  • The  manoeuvring spaces are
    in front of essential furnishings (e.g. cupboards) 200 cm x 136 cm;
    to the left of the bed 66 cm x 180 cm;
    to the right of the bed 150 cm x 180 cm.
  • The bed is 60 cm high.

  • The bed is 60 cm high.
  • The manoeuvring spaces in the bathroom are:
    in front of the washbasin 140 cm x 140 cm;

Fitness Area (2nd floor)

  • In addition to the fitness area, the fitness area also has a sauna area with a relaxation room, showers, ladies' and men's toilets, changing areas, a Kneipp foot basin and a dry sauna, steam bath and Finnish sauna. 
  • The fitness area is not designed to be barrier-free.
  • The sauna door is 71 cm wide. The manoeuvring space in front of the lower bench is 130 cm x 48 cm. 
  • The door to the steam sauna is 62 cm wide. The manoeuvring space in front of the lower bench is 200 cm x 70 cm. 

Public toilet for people with disabilities (ground floor)

  • The door is at least 87 cm wide.
  • The manoeuvring spaces are:
    in front of the washbasin 140 cm x 120 cm;

  • There is no visually clearly perceptible alarm (e.g. fire alarm).
  • There is an inductive hearing system in the conference room.  However, there is no inductive hearing system at the reception. 
  • An outgoing emergency call in the lift is confirmed acoustically, e.g. by an intercom, but not visually.
  • In the catering area, there are tables with bright and glare-free lighting where there are no lamps or hanging lamps that interfere with the field of vision or eye contact. There are tables with low ambient noise.
  • There is at least one freely available power socket near the bed in the rooms.
  • W-LAN is offered.

  • Assistance dogs (companion dogs, guide dogs for the blind, etc.) may be brought into all relevant areas/rooms of the establishment/offer. 
  • There are glass doors with no safety markings at a height of 40-70 cm and 120-160 cm.
  • The entrance area is recognisable by a tactilely perceptible change of flooring and visually contrasting with the surroundings. 
  • There are no visually contrasting or tactilely detectable floor indicators. 
  • All raised areas that can be used by the guest (entrance area, cash desk/counter, bedrooms, corridors, hallways) are well lit, i.e. bright and glare-free.
  • The operating elements (e.g. door handles, light switches, emergency call buttons) are tactilely detectable and visually contrasting almost everywhere.
  • An outgoing emergency call in the lift is confirmed acoustically, e.g. by an intercom system. The stopping position is not announced by voice. 
  • Stairs have handrails on both sides. 
  • The menu is designed in straightforward and high-contrast lettering.
  • Signage for orientation is designed in legible type. There is good visual contrast between the font/pictogram and the background.
