Cafe Moskau

Cafe Moskau (Cafe Moskau GmbH )

The architectural icon was built in 1964 on one of the most popular streets in the capital: Today's Karl-Marx-Allee in the heart of Berlin. Wine bar, nightclub, tea room - the house was a symbiosis of everything and a central meeting place for people of distinction. After extensive renovation work, the former restaurant reopened in 2009 as a multifunctional event venue. The listed location impresses above all with historical elements. Numerous details of the eventful past are still preserved today and give the house a special charm. These include the elaborate wall mosaics, the illuminated lettering and the Sputnik satellite at the main entrance of the location. Also characteristic of the building are the floor-to-ceiling glass facades and the atrium shape. Rooms flooded with light offer guests a generous and unique transparency.
