Park at Gleisdreieck

Park at Gleisdreieck (Marina Rochel)

The park on the former railroad areas at Gleisdreieck is divided by the ICE line into a west and east park. Both parts of the park have a similar concept with large central lawns, intensively used play and sports areas at the edges, and areas left with ruderal vegetation along the old rail tracks. There are areas for trend sports as well as an allotment garden integrated into the park. The Schöneberg loop finds its northern turning point on the Gleisdreieck after a short turn to the eastern part of the park located in Kreuzberg. Here, the supraregional bike path changes from the eastern to the western park in the tunneled area of the long-distance train tracks and continues north to Potsdamer Platz and the Tiergarten.
