Verified, reliable, detailed - the perfect database for your requirements
The "Reisen für Alle" [Travel for All] project is now focusing on the Germany-wide roll out and further development of a national labelling system. This funded cooperation project, implemented by the Deutsches Seminar für Tourismus (DSFT) Berlin e. V. and the association Tourismus für Alle Deutschland e.V. - NatKo, considers a wide range of criteria to ensure high quality standards across all industry sectors. This means that businesses along the entire tourism service chain in Germany will be recorded, assessed and certified according to a consistent set of nationwide criteria. The results can be consulted in this database. Divisions by category, federal state and travel region make it possible, with just a few clicks of your mouse, to independently select, evaluate and book a package in line with your own personal requirements.
In addition, many forms of public transport in Germany, the associated infrastructure, communication and reservation processes are already fully compatible with barrier-free travel. Cities and tourist regions publish online and offline information on accessible shopping. Event organisers and performers provide level access to and around major public fairs. Museums, exhibitions and tourist towns, as well as many sports stadiums and arenas are now to a great extent barrier-free. And more and more accommodation providers are offering easy and convenient access with ground-level entrances and lifts. Most hotel chains also have special accessible rooms and look forward to your visit.
