"Hohenstaufensaal" Annweiler am Trifels

All areas relevant for testing meet the quality criteria of the label "Accessibility certified - accessible for people with walking disabilities and partially accessible for wheelchair users".

Some information on accessibility are listed below. For detailed information please see the evaluation report.

• There are three marked parking spaces for people with disabilities.
• The path from the parking lot to the entrance is 50 m long and has a longitudinal gradient of 6 % over a length of 7 m.
• The building is accessible without steps (threshold of 2 cm).
• All evaluated rooms and facilities available to the guests are at ground level or can be reached via an elevator.
•  The elevator cabin measures 120 cm x 209 cm.
• All evaluated passageways/doors available to the guests are at least 90 cm wide.
• The counter of the wardrobe is 86 cm high. The bar counters in the rear foyer and in the middle club room are 126 cm and 115 cm high respectively.
• The tables in the clubroom are wheelchair accessible.

Public toilet for people with disabilities (ground floor)

• The manoeuvring spaces are:
  in front of the door 150 cm x 140 cm;
  in front of the toilet and washbasin 232 cm x 160 cm;
  to the left and right of the toilet at least 96 cm x 70 cm.
• On the left and right of the toilet there are handles which can be folded up.
• The washbasin is wheelchair accessible.
• There is an alarm trigger.
