The apartment is located in a rural, quiet location, which is particularly suitable for long walks and bike rides. Due to good transport connections, the East Frisian peninsula can be optimally explored. Dangast, Wilhelmshaven and Hooksiel, for example, can be reached in less than 30 minutes.

  • There is a general parking space available (pitch size: 400 cm x 600 cm).
  • The parking space is 15 m from the entrance.
  • The entrance/access to the building is step-free (max. 2 cm threshold, if necessary via a ramp). 
  • All rooms and facilities that can be used and raised for the guest are accessible without steps. 
  • Passages and doors are at least 90 cm wide. Exception: The door to the guest toilet is 70 cm wide. 
  • The (dining) table is wheelchair-accessible (maximum height 80 cm, wheelchair-accessible at a height of 67 cm and a depth of 30 cm), but the sideboard/work surfaces sink and cooker are not wheelchair-accessible.

  • The manoeuvring spaces are as follows
    in front of essential furnishings (e.g. cupboards) 253 cm x 359 cm;
    to the left of the bed 150 cm x 224 cm;

  • The bed is 60 cm high.

  • There are grab rails to the left and right of the toilet.
  • Both grab rails can be folded up.

  • The mirror can be viewed while sitting or standing.
  • The shower is accessible without steps.  
  • The shower area is 150 cm x 150 cm.
  • Grab rails are provided in the shower.
  • A shower seat is available or can be provided if required (permanently installed, foldable, hook-in or mobile and stable).

  • The entrance area is recognisable by a tactilely perceptible change of floor covering and visually contrasted with the surroundings. 
  • The operating elements (e.g. door handles, light switches, emergency call buttons) are tactilely detectable and visually contrasting throughout the building/object.
  • The walls or other structural elements can be partially used for orientation. The walkways in corridors/paths/corridors are partially visually contrasting with the surroundings. There are no floor indicators
  • All raised areas that can be used by the guest (entrance area, cash desk/counter, bedrooms, corridors, hallways) are well lit, i.e. bright and glare-free.
  • The signage is designed in clearly legible lettering. There is a good visual contrast between the lettering/pictogram and the background. 
  • Numbers, letters (up to 4 characters) or pictograms are not tactilely perceptible (e.g. relief or prismatic lettering).
