Museum of Natural History Berlin

The Museum of Natural History in Berlin is one of the five largest natural history museums in the world. The collections comprise more than 30 million exhibits, including the world's largest dinosaur skeleton.

A whole host of exhibitions on different topics await visitors to the Museum of Natural History in Berlin: "World of Dinosaurs", "System Earth", "Minerals", "Cosmos and Solar System", "Preparation Art" and "Birds and Native Animals" are just some of the areas offering unbelievable insights into our planet.

Highlights at the museum include the world's largest dinosaur skeleton, the original remains of the Archaeopteryx lithographica, a bird-like dinosaur, and the world's most famous fossil. And the biodiversity wall featuring 3,000 animal species from all kinds of habitats is nothing short of impressive. Insect lovers are sure to be fascinated by the detail of the magnified models of native insects created by taxidermist Alfred Keller, whilst Germany's largest collection of minerals covering 65% of all known minerals in 200,000 exhibits is not to be missed.
