Heringsdorf is one of the largest and oldest seaside resorts on the island of Usedom. The community was presented with the Premium Thalasso Europe Award in 2008, which serves as proof of the high-quality treatments on offer here.

The three "imperial resorts" of Ahlbeck, Bansin and Heringsdorf in particular still manage to impress visitors with their stunning architecture and sprawling parks to this day, serving as a reminder of times gone by when the German aristocracy would visit for their holidays.
